Kindergarten Registration for 2026-2027 School Year

Time for Kindergarten.
Kindergarten Online Registration for 2026-2027 will open on March 16th.
Register your child for Kindergarten online beginning March 16th. Please know that ALL required documents MUST BE UPLOADED to complete this process.
Once the documents have been uploaded, please contact the school at (678) 245-5450 to make an appointment to complete the regristration.
If you already have a child in GCPS schools, and you are registering a Kindergarten student for next school year, you need to register this child using Parent Vue formerly known as Parent Portal.

Any current Kindergarten student who is transferring to Ferguson Elementary from within GCPS should visit the school's front office with the following documentation. The online registration process is NOT required for students transferring within GCPS.

Step 1: Complete Online Registration
If you are enrolling a new Kindergartener for the 2026-2027 school year, the child must be 5 years old by September 1, 2026.
Starting on March 16th, parents will complete the Online Registration Form.
Here is what you will need to complete the Online Registration.
After your registration is complete, you will be contacted to set up an appointment for your child to complete a Kindergarten Readiness Entry Profile. This will help us see what your child knows before entering Kindergarten.

Step 2: Upload Required Documentation

Please be aware that your child will not be entered into our student database and assigned a teacher until ALL required documents are received.
Upon completion of the online registration process by the parent, the school will contact the parent to verify that everything has been completed and the required documentation has been submitted.
