Elementary Content Area Spotlight on Thursday, September 26th: presented by Julie Erdmann, Elementary ELA Director, Michelle Bellamy, Elementary Math Director, Dr. Jeremy Nix, Elementary Social Studies Director, and Kristin Luthi, Elementary Science Director all from the Department of Teaching and Learning virtually from 5:30 pm until 6:30 pm.
During this session, GCPS families of students in grades K-5 will receive information on how to support students at home with ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies in the first semester

In December 2023, Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) began participating in the Georgia Department of Education’s statewide “Clean Water for Georgia Kids” program. This program tests all drinking and cooking water taps in schools for lead. Testing began in January 2024 and is scheduled to continue through July. Elementary schools were tested first before moving to middle and high schools.
